Digitisation of plaster models at the Georg Kolbe Museum

Kolbe’s plaster models later formed the basis for the bronze castings. 300 of these plaster models were catalogued and digitised as part of the project. Some of these models are one-offs and are regarded as the sole evidence of a work, particularly where the bronze versions have been lost or were destroyed during the war.
