The written legacy of Georg Kolbe

New discoveries from the collection of his granddaughter, Maria von Tiesenhausen, focusing on the years between 1933 and 1945

The project centred on the rediscovered written estate of Kolbe’s granddaughter. In addition to the approximately 2,300 individual letters and correspondence, the project also involved the cataloguing and digitisation of previously unknown personal documents, such as pocket diaries, visitors’ books and personal address books.
